Revisions For Extra Credit

The United Way of River Cities has many affiliates that work with them throughout the year. In JMC 201 all of the students have to choose an affiliate and do research on them. Periods, pg 362, 2009 AP Stylebook.



As a JMC 201 student, I have chosen to do my project on the Boy Scouts-Tri State Area Council. Commas, pg 357, 2009 AP Stylebook, Hyphenated words, pg 361, 2009 AP Stylebook. The Boy Scouts do many activities throughout the year.



The Boy Scouts are designed to mold the youth into adults with character who help the community. The boys who just start out in Boy Scouts are known as cubs and if they go all the way through the training and get all the minimum badges then they can become an eagle scout.



There are activities all year long that the Boy Scouts attend. They have many camps. These camps can last anywhere from a day to weeks long. There are even camps that their families attend with them. They also do food drives and sell popcorn.



I will be researching the Tri-State Boy Scouts in more depth later on in the month.
